Become an Instructor

To become a Reconnective Kids! Instructor you will need to complete a three-step process:

• Completed Application
• Successful completion of the Reconnective Kids! Instructor two-day training course.
• Field Work

Each of the three items is discussed below in detail.

What is the Reconnective Kids! Instructor Training Course?

The Reconnective Kids! Instructor Training Course is a two-day experience that provides comprehensive, personalized instruction, which will allow you to successfully introduce groups of children to the philosophy and practical application of Reconnective Healing. Upon completion of the program each practitioner will be able to hold Reconnective Kids! classes in their own communities.

Course Description

Topics covered in this course include:

• Reconnective Healing philosophy
• The mechanics of Reconnective Healing
• Use of interactive games and activities to give children a tangible experience of working with the Reconnective Healing frequencies
• Healing, distance healing, working with animals and self-healing as developmentally appropriate for children
• Guidelines for professional practices within the Reconnective Kids! program

At the conclusion of the second day, each attendee will receive a preliminary evaluation outlining areas of strength and areas needing improvement. Fieldwork will be required following the course to ensure the work is taught at an effective and professional level. This fieldwork includes a minimum of three supervised classes. Upon successful completion of all the requirements, the attendee will be certified as a Reconnective Kids! Instructor for a period of 24 months. Semi-Annual evaluation and recertification are required to maintain status as a Reconnective Kids! Instructor.

Pre-Requisites and Application
To attend the Reconnective Kids! Instructor Training Course you will need to fulfill the following requirements:

1. Must be a Certified Practitioner of Reconnective Healing and The Reconnection. For more information about becoming a Certified Practitioner, please visit the website

Please note that status, as a Certified Practitioner, requires annual renewal.

2. Background check

3. Previous experience in teaching or working with children (two year minimum)

4. Two recommendations and reference checks that contain complete contact information of the person submitting the recommendation/referral and sent directly to Cecilia Samms.

Supervised Fieldwork
After completion of the two day Reconnective Kids! Instructor Training Course you will be required to participate in a minimum of three supervised Reconnective Kids! classes to demonstrate your mastery of the Reconnective Kids! curriculum and your ability to work with children.  When the supervised fieldwork is complete, based on final evaluation by your supervising instructor(s), you will be able to offer Reconnective Kids! classes in your own community.
