FAQ

What is Reconnective Healing?
It’s a powerful new form of healing that many researchers believe may be here on the planet for the very first time. Reconnective Healing helps us heal on many levels and has the amazing ability to help us connect more fully to ourselves, others, the earth, the universe and to our multi-dimensionality as human beings.

What is Reconnective Yoga?
In essence, it is the marriage of the ancient science of yoga with the new frequencies of Reconnective Healing. This union offers a powerful new way to align your body, mind and spirit. By introducing the Reconnective Healing frequencies into your practice, you will connect to higher levels of energy, light and information that bring your entire being into balance. These new frequencies move in a focused and directed way to broaden your abilities while you gracefully flow through your asanas. As you further expand your yoga practice, you will discover and explore new physical capabilities and a deeper spiritual connection. This is a unique and transformative vehicle for concentration and meditation. You’ll experience direct alignment with the universe and discover a whole new dimension of yoga. While it is not exclusive to one particular school, form or style of yoga, we have been focused on program development in the Hatha school, particularly ISHTA and Anusara styles of yoga. However, the work is applicable to any style of yoga.

How is this different from other forms of yoga?

What truly distinguishes Reconnective Yoga from other forms of yoga is its dramatically enhanced and expanded access and use of energy, light and information. Plus, Reconnective Yoga Instructors also become healing practitioners along the way. Through those instructors, and assisted by the intelligence of the universe, yoga studios now become the new healing centers of today.

How do you “bring” these frequencies onto the yoga mat?
Once we have been introduced to and have interacted with the frequencies, we simply stand back and allow ourselves to be a catalyst for the healing. In doing so, you will access this new spectrum of healing frequencies via your observation and attention. When you access these frequencies in the studio, you can hold and “charge the room” with the frequencies so all yogis in the room can experience the benefit. You can then access the new bandwidth and bring it to the yoga mat. You will also learn a new form of self-healing while doing your yoga practice.

Do I need to be in a certain state of mind to tune-in to the Reconnective Healing frequencies during my yoga practice?

It’s not about your thoughts or intention, rather, it’s about your attention. When you come into the studio, the universe knows exactly what your intention is. Instead of holding a conscious intention, you will see that the greatest healings can occur when you become the observer and the observed. By using the frequencies to be present and attentive to your practice, you become open to the infinite universal possibilities. Through this, you can transcend technique, intention and limited perception.

Can anyone do this healing work with yoga?
Absolutely! In fact, The Reconnection has taught over 60,000 people in more than 60 countries how to access and use this new level of healing to heal themselves, heal others and heal the planet. With our Reconnective Yoga program, we have taught hundreds of yogis and yoginis how to access these new frequencies in their own yoga practices around the world.

Does mixing Reconnective Healing with yoga dilute or weaken the frequencies?
Not at all. When we use Reconnective Healing frequencies in a healing session, we never mix any other healing modality or anything that may intrude upon the client’s experience. This is done with the intention to allow the client to come into a space where a healing can occur.

Reconnective Yoga brings these frequencies into your yoga practice with the intention of expanding your connection to the universe and expanding your experience of yoga. The frequencies may come into many different areas of your life, including your job, personal interactions, therapy sessions, doctor’s treatments, sports and athletic activities, creative endeavors and more. There is no issue or potential conflict in these situations, as we are not facilitating or experiencing a Reconnective Healing session during a yoga class.

Are there any notable Instructors currently certified as Reconnective Yoga Instructors?
