If we are only focused on our intentions, then we are missing the most powerful opportunities the universe holds for us. When we move past intention and into a state of flow with the energetic state of the universe through the RH frequencies, we open ourselves to endless possibility and we stop reinforcing false ideas of who we are through our own biased confirmations.
Nate was just 13 years old when his mother passed away from thyroid cancer. They lived near a WWII era nuclear storage facility and the town had long been subject to unpredictable and devastating random strikes of rare cancers. Just 9 months after watching his mother pass, he developed an aching lump in his leg. Nate had scratched it on one of his frequent dirt bike rides and thought little of it. He had been training to go out for the high school track team and for the upcoming football season. Nate was a beautiful, healthy boy. Athletic and tall, he seemed destined for touchdown passes and breaking speed records. Nate planned on going into the airforce to pay for college. The passing of his mother made him even more determined to be successful and live life to its fullest. His father, from an abundance of caution, took him to have his aching leg checked out. Stage 4 Ewing's Sarcoma. It was in his leg. The doctors recommended amputation.
He fought the doctors for alternative therapies and convinced them not to amputate his leg. He knew in his gut that the recommendation for amputation was not for him and eventually, the doctors and his father relented. Nate had always been big for his age, but during nearly a year of chemotherapy, his once growing frame was reduced to a fragile skeletal shell. His thick, wavy hair fell out and he was left permanently balding at 14. His freckles faded into his pale skin and his cheekbones protruded under wrinkled eyes. Nate’s broad shoulders gave way to a thin young man aged far beyond his years and with an aura of sadness about him. He slumped as he stood and now needed glasses. He stayed in the back of his classrooms and the brightness he once had was gone. Nate had survived, but the doctors warned that the bone graft they had made to his leg was extremely fragile. He should never run; he could never move quickly. A sudden move could snap his leg in half. Eventually, they said, the bone would likely break severely and his ankle would have to be permanently fused. He was alive, but would never play sports or even run or jump again. The cancer was gone for now. The doctors warned his father and grandparents he may not live past 20.
Devastated, he took on this new identity. ‘I am fragile,’ he told himself. ‘I have to be careful.’Nate made himself small and quiet. He would never again be the strapping young athlete. He would never go into the military. When the other kids went out in high school, he stayed home. Afraid the cancer would come back and determined to survive, he stopped eating most foods and kept his gaunt, pasty frame well into his thirties.
One day he casually said, “I am fragile” out loud to a friend and it stopped him in his tracks. Nate had told himself this every day and in any situation where he might possibly risk needing to move rapidly, including crossing the street.
“NO, Nate, YOU aren’t fragile, your leg is. You are one of the strongest people I know,” his friend responded. This one moment inspired Nate to allow himself to be strong. He started eating more diverse foods and found ways to exercise without putting his leg at risk. As he gained strength, he gained confidence. His entire life changed. Today he is a very healthy-looking, robust man in his mid-thirties who has excelled past every expectation that was put on him. His broad shoulders are back and he’s even started down a new career path. His leg is fragile, but Nate is not. Once Nate stopped telling himself the story that had been forced upon him, he started to flow with his true essence. He stepped into a greater life full of growth and opportunity.
“Matter exists potentially because it may attain to the form; but when it exists actually, it is then in the form.”
-Aristotle, Metaphysics, Book 9 on his closely connected principles of potentiality and actuality
THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OUR FORCED DREAMS AND CHILDREN’S DREAMS
As adults, we might find ourselves forcing a fantasy of who we are and who we think we should be based upon inaccurate assumptions of who or what we are supposed to be. When you were a child, what did you want to be? Our dreams of being Superman or Wonder Woman may have been a little unrealistic, but fantasies serve their purpose. Having a childlike mind is a gift. It’s the mind of imagination and possibility. Imagination opens the world to us... maybe even giving us further insight into our true nature. But is what we imagine in concert with who we truly ARE? If we stay in a state of the imagination of future joy, future prosperity, we may miss out on the present. We may lose our childlike state of present moment awareness.
Once we excel past fantasies, we recognize authentic opportunities for growth. What is the story you tell yourself? Just like Nate, we might assume an identity based upon what others expect of us - or based upon our own expectations.
At some point, usually in midlife, we wake up, look around and realize that we are FAR from where we want to be. Too often, this midlife existential crisis is destructive, selfish and unproductive. This is because we are trying to reconcile the idea of who we are with who we thought we would be in our lives at this time. This ‘waking up’ is an excellent opportunity to take stock, realign with our most authentic selves and open ourselves up to possibility. Too often we mistakenly listen to the wakeup call coming from somewhere beyond us, we might buy a new car, have an affair or create other means of self-sabotage. Once we recognize this self-sabotage, we wake up! And the shock of this new consciousness can serve as an unforeseen opportunity to seek renewal of our relationship with our most authentic selves.
“Every block of stone has a statue inside it and it is the task of the sculptor to discover it. I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free.” - Michelangelo
HOW DO WE FIND TALENT AND PRODUCTIVITY?
Once we know ourselves, we are then best able to fulfill our potential. But trying to be in total control of our lives can blind us to our myriad of options. Intention without consciousness can be fruitless and painful. We limit our ability to get to know ourselves if we are continually trying to force our reality into where or what we think it should be. As we allow our reality to flow with the energy in the universe, we find harmony. We can discover our hidden talents and reveal our authentic selves.
You will know you are in harmony because you experience a knowingness and a sense of psychological well-being.
THE TRILLION DOLLAR GURU PHENOMENON
We are actively seeking answers to live in a state of assured balance in knowingness. We don’t need a guru, an influencer or a blogger. Their promises of wealth or fame have little to do with who we may actually be or what nourishes our soul.
“In an open society it’s hard to find someone who hasn’t dabbled in human potential, beginning with the most popular aspect, which is self-improvement. The desire to improve yourself is an expression of the impulse to evolve, which is unstoppable in human beings. But having painted this picture, one needs to ask if the human potential movement is bearing fruit. Is it moving fast enough? Are reactionary forces pulling society in the opposite direction?”
--Deepak Chopra MD
Gurus aside, we already possess the roadmap for allowing the answers and opportunities to come to us. Our greatest obstacle can be our own inability to recognize opportunities because we are focused on trying to force the universe to give us our desires. There is often a big gap between what we desire and what we perceive is possible.
RECONNECTIVE HEALING IS YOU RECEIVING YOUR SUPERPOWER
The RH frequencies align us to receive and act as a catalyst for the expanding energy flowing through the universe and to move in synchronicity with the unseen flow of the multiverse.
HOW TO FIND THE “REAL” YOU
Perhaps you aren’t a childhood cancer survivor like Nate, but you still subsume the real you to serve what the world has told you are. Some of our earliest childhood memories are of a parent or sibling telling us that we are bad, mean or stupid. Sometimes we internalize what other people tell us we are and take on that identity. Even as adults, we play painful criticisms over and over, allowing the judgment of others to suppress our most significant potential. We replay these mantras of identity to ourselves and close our essence to receiving powerful truths.
WE NEED PURPOSE IN OUR LIVES
Reconnective Healing brings us into harmony with the purpose that is already waiting for us. With RH, the mind is not asked to create or sustain an intention focused on a specific outcome or practice something daily to bring about change. When acting as a Catalyst, we enter a state of observation, noticing and experiencing - all happening simultaneously, devoid of judgment and prejudice. This state allows our awareness to expand, carrying us into a flow state and granting us access to the field of infinite potential.
ANCIENT SOCIETIES TAUGHT THAT WE ASSUME JUDGMENT AS OUR IDENTITY
Letting go of judgment frees us to realize true intention.
”The ancient Greeks believed that health was affected by the humors, geographic location, social class, diet, trauma, beliefs, and mindset... There was a significant focus on the beliefs and mindset of someone who is ill in the diagnosis and treatment theories. It was recognized that the mind played a role in healing, or that it might also be the sole basis for the illness.”
-From Ancient Encyclopedia by Mark Cartwright and Galen and the Gateway to Medicine by Jeanne Bendick
Aristotle went on to develop his concept of Hedonia or feeling good and Eudaimonia, feeling purpose, which was the basis for his theory that the mind is the ultimate influence on our happiness and fulfillment.
NOW YOU ENTER THE FLOW STATE
Your perspective shifts, it opens and expands once you access the RH Intelligence, your Superpower. Attempting to rewire your brain via meditation or other practices might help you recognize pathways to your desired intentions, sometimes even allowing you to enter into a flow state. When you interact with the Reconnective Healing frequencies however, flow happens instantly with your awareness of the frequencies.
The RH frequencies rewire your brain without you having to work at it or even intend it, allowing it to both revamp older pathways and recognize and create new ones in alignment with the core of who you are and the potential of who you can become. Change comes automatically and easily. Here, you find you let go of your attachment to specific outcomes and release your mind into ultimate presence. Infinite opportunity and potential become vividly present. And the outcome tends to far exceed what you could have imagined.
